JOB TITLE National Services Assistant
RESPONSIBLE TO Head of National Services
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The National Services Assistant, will support the various activities
of the Irish Red Cross during its response to the Ukrainian Crisis.
The assistant, reporting to the Head of National Services, will be
responsible for performing tasks to aid the departments work in
response to the crisis as well as providing support to the Garda
Vetting Liaison Person(s) with ongoing administration in this area.
MAIN TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
* Provide Administrative support to the National Community Support
Office and the Garda Vetting Liaison Person(s).
* Provide Support for specific logistics relating to the Ukrainian
Crisis.
* Takes notes and produces accurate and timely meeting minutes set
out in standard format.
* Liaise with Community Support Officers during the Ukrainian Crisis
* Handling queries by phone/email
* Provide administration support to the National Services Department
as may be required.
* Files and administers all confidential documents relating to both
membership and garda vetting
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Strong administration and organisational skills;
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite;
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
